im sure i had more to talk about, but i've forgotten.....

Ok this is over due, but Uni has been quite hectic, since I’m really concentrating on buckling down, typing all my notes, making extra ones, reading more books, and now I'm working with the film students to make a documentary. My documentary proposal has now been selected for reserve; the only factor that made the final decision was distance. It means if something goes wrong with this first documentary, the group are willing to make mine XD

In fact, Halloween night, I was filming in a club from 11 till 7.30. I was so busy I forgot it was Halloween, even after the staff dressed up; I was concentrating on shots and such. It’s only when I started walking back to my group mate’s house with my sound equipment on my back and I spotted kids dressed as witches, I remembered lol.

I’ve been watching a huge amount of documentaries, my favourite so far being 'triumph of the will', a doc. about Hitler before the war broke out, all him in a positive light and all that, I thought it was brilliant. We had to then get into groups and discuss the modes of address and such, and most of the group were like 'it’s boring, nothing happened, he's a rubbish speaker'. Were they even watching the same documentary?! He’s a fantastic speaker, and he did, to quote Harry potter novels, great things, terrible, but great. He’s a fantastic character

Some class mates really are stupid, I wonder how they managed to pass the first year. I remember near the beginning of the term the lecture was on the print revolution and the printing press, the teacher said 'what did we have before printed books?' one women said, in all honesty 'audio books'. *face palm*

Ok, like most people, expo started the Friday for me. Well, I finished uni and came home as soon as possible, once I got home my dad (go visit him and tell him about your love for the chainsaw, not here on my account) was already waiting for me to show the chainsaw. It was awesome. We stayed up do the last details, me sheepishly sticking down things mostly, since I didn’t want to ruin it. The night before I had made a bag to carry it in, which turned out to be a good size. The rest of the night was spent sorting other things like last minute styling, stitching kanda together, and taking photos. Went to bed at 11.
woke up at 5 the next day, woke my sister up, walked round in a circle in the kitchen before deciding I should actually get dressed, so I put my Grell cosplay on, minus the coat and shoes and put the chainsaw in the bag. after checking for the XXth time all my stuff, we got a ride to the station ,meeting my sister friend (who was dressing as Yoshi), went inside, only to find my friends who were originally getting an earlier train still there, so we got the train together XD
We split up again at waterloo, while I waited for Laura as Lavi and her friend Tasha to turn up. Then we set off for expo. OMG A FIRST, NO LINES DOWN!!!! Got to expo and went inside, once we got in the queue, I got fully changed, revealing the chainsaw to the much admiration XD. Too many people took photos of me getting changed simply because of the chainsaw, let me finish guys! I found carrying the chainsaw laid over my upper arm pointing upwards was the best way to carry it, though my arm died afterwards. We didn’t go inside straight away, so we wondered outside, I could barely move for all the photo's I had to stop for (and then reminding people I didn’t make the chainsaw, my dad did) one girl even expressed an interest in buying the chainsaw! Apart from that, it was the same old expo. Went to the kuroshitsuji shoot, after adopting a sebas-chan cosplayer (poor thing looked lost XD) much lolz since the wind hates cosplays, and it screwed my wig up (not happy, made it flat, after all that time getting it styled!!) though Elizabeth and her dress! Lol. at one point I didn’t have my chainsaw (either my sister or tash had it I’m guessing) and they asked me to stand up to have photo's taken, I stood there thinking 'what can I do without the chainsaw' then suddenly I remembered, dove my hand into my trousers and pulled up 2 red scissors, which pretty much ended in a huge roar of fan girls/boys 'OMFG SHE HAS SCISSORS!!' XD
Went inside to go see and stall, covered in all sorts of cool stuff!!! and went for a wonder around the rest of the hall, but to be really honest, carrying my chainsaw, leading my sister, blind in her mask, and me half blind in those glasses, neither of us felt like buying anything on the Saturday, and stayed out of the hall mostly, apart from when I forced my sister back inside to have her photo taken at the photo stand. Afterwards it was starting to get late, so after chasing another sebas-chan around the corridors, me my sister and her friend went home, me looking like a complete wreck due to the stupid weather and my make-up half melted off, again!
got up the next day slightly later, got dressed as kanda, fussing for ever with the wig, (which fell off on the DLR in the end) and then caught a ride to the station, then got a bus to Virginia waters, where the information was terrible, all the signs all wrong, eventually ending up with us missing a train since it was stationed at the platform marked going to Reading, when in fact it was going the other way. In the end we stayed an hour there at the station. Luckily, we found some other cosplayers, even better, one I met last expo (*looks into face* 'oh god it's you again!' ) got on the train finally, got our photo taken by the bemused public, then got to expo finally. Went quickly into the bathroom to re-do the wig (whilst having a shouting match with an Allen cosplayer) and then went outside for the d gray man shoot. way more people this time round compared to last expo and much fun, especially when Excalibur walked in half way through and announced 'let me tell you a story-' a united 'fuck off' and 'go away' ensued, but all in good humour. Many random shot like tyki vs. alien as well XD then a certain person a.k.a. shouted 'fan service'!!! we had just finished the kanda group shot, and I looked over to and , each had a perverted grin on their face (oh god no!) but tbh, I’m ok with kissing other people, as long as they are comfortable with it, and I don’t mean shoving tongues down each other throats or rolling chins or fondling anyone, just a kiss. So after the shoot, I went in search of , since I had seen him at the train station, and wished to see his earl cosplay. Finally found him after asking multiple people. Because it was hard to hear him talk, and probably vise versa, I was leaning quite close to him to talk with him, someone shouted 'hey look at that! Kanda is chatting up the earl!' at least I found it funny XD
Well after that it was pretty much a normal expo day, adopting many people into our group, including and . Went inside a few times and while my sister was looking at posters I spot someone in red, who turned out to be . I pretty much leapt over my sister to go speak with him. How awfully fan girly does it sound, out of both days, I only took one photo, and that was of him? the first day as Grell, I was too busy carrying the chainsaw, and when I took my camera out to take a photo of him, I found it incredible painful to push the button down now my arm was incredible sore, so I refrained from taking any more photo's. pretty much just wondered outside, found it too windy, went inside, found it too stuffy, would go outside, too windy, etc. At the end of the day, I had been looking out for , soon I said I owed her haribo, and I had brought a packet. At the end of the day, it seemed I wouldn’t meet her, so I ate a few of the sweets. But then, just as I was leaving I noticed someone with white hair, a white cape and a sword--- it was her! I pretty much flung myself at her 'emi! Emi! Haribo I have haribo! *digs in bag* here! Haribo! Geez you look awesome! *hugs, then runs off* (was catching a train there and then) I must of seemed like a rabid fan girl, but I was in a rush, we were storming out of the excel as it was to try get back in time and beat the queues.
Tiring as always, but it was good. I met with everyone I planned to meet XD and turns out I have a few fans! Well, people who are like 'I met you last year!' and 'your kanda form pizza hut!' and 'you’re the kanda from London with the arse!' (Damn you tali!!!) But it was great fun. I don’t know what I plan to do next expo, though I’m considering a Mio from K-ON cosplay..... Don’t know...

There was a fire alarm the other day at 7 in the morning. I was planning a lie in, and had to walk down 11 flights of steps looking like the dead in my PJ's and dressing gown. Why is it every time there is a fire alarm, most people, especially he boys, are fully dressed? Do they all go to sleep in their clothes?

Finally paragon have started doing what they always said they would; clean the kitchens!. Sure it’s our job, but they did state they would do the general stuff, Hoover the floor and give the surfaces a wipe down. Since I had cleaner and more respectable flat mates this year, there isn’t a lot to tidy anyway

Urgh, my earphones broke. I told my dad and he said you can get a pair at a pound store, so I got a pair, and they sucked! Really quiet and muffled. I just want my old ones back.
